Program Description
One-day special education law and advocacy programs focus on four areas:
- special education law, rights and responsibilities
- tests and measurements to measure progress & regression
- SMART IEPs
- introduction to tactics & strategies for effective advocacy
Wrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. The program is not disability specific.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)
The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is approximately 11.2 miles to the venue. DFW is easily accessible from anywere in the metropolian Dallas and Fort Worth area. As the third largest airport in the world, DFW serves 204 national and international destinations.
Dallas Love Field (DAL)
Dallas Love Field is approximately 9.3 miles to the venue. The newly renovated and expanded airport, is just minutes from Irving. The hub for Southwest Airlines, Love Field is also served by airlines such as Virgin America, Seaport, United and Delta.
