Program Description


One-day special education law and advocacy training for parents, advocates, educators, related service providers and attorneys. The agenda will follow the format of the standard "6 hour agenda". This year the focus of the Wrightslaw Conference will be OHI, Allergies, Mental Health, ADHD & Dyslexia in addition to an overview of IDEA, ADA, 504, & NCLB.

Registration includes morning coffee, boxed lunch, afternoon snack and three books Wrightslaw: Special Education Law, 2nd Edition, Wrightslaw: From Emotions to Advocacy, 2nd Edition, and Wrightslaw: All About IEPs .

Greet and Meet: There will be a private meet and greet with Pete Wrght the evening before the confrence from 5-7 pm. Light appetizers will be served. No additional food or beverages are included in the $35 fee. The location of the meet and greet will be sent out to attendees by October 1, 2014. There is no refund once this option is selected. If you do not attend the meet and greet there are no refunds available.The meet and greet will be held in Wilton, CT. This is for conference attendees only. Credits:
0.6 CEU's (continuing education units) have been approved for this conference.

Scholarships: No scholarships are available for this conference.

Refund Policy: There are no refunds available for this Wrightslaw conference; however you may transfer your ticket to another attendee with notice to Advocate with Faith no later than 10 days before the conference. Tickets may not be resold at a higher rate.
