Program Description
Speaker: Pete Wright
This one-day, five hour program about IEPs will focus on:
- The IEP statute, Regulations, and Commentary to the regulations
- Recent IEP caselaw
- Drafting of SMART IEPs
You will learn:
- Legislative history and how IEPs have evolved
- How to draft IEPs based on the unique needs of a child.

What is and what is not permissible in IEPs.

How to create a teamwork relationship with parents and school staff so that the child benefits.
This is the first Wrightslaw: All About IEPs program and is limited to 120 attendees.

Attendees seeking credits will be awarded 0.5 CEU's (continuing education units) or 5 CLE's (continuing
legal education).
Cancellation Policy: Refund of 85% for email or phone cancellations received by 4 p.m. EST, Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Thereafter, no refund, but you may substitute someone else to attend on your behalf so long as you send an email to Debra Pratt with the name of the substitute attendee.
