See you in Missouri!
my child’s IEP has been Falsified & she is Intellectual disabled & I also have learning disability’s, I am trying to help her but it is very hard, I was told to contact the OCR in GA & I have tried calling, but I only get a recording. I am attempting to fill out a OCR complaint form now but I don’t know if I am doing it correctly. My 12 year daughters records are being changed & the school will not give me a copy of her final IEP, they keeping making excuses & ingoring me. This is new to me, but its wrong! I am glad wrights law is around. I am trying to find a honest special education advocate in east TN. I tried contacting the state but they said the school was not doing anything wrong. I need help with falsified IEP!
I suggest that you contact your state parent training and information center. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center
