My son had a transition goal in his 7th and 8th grade IEP, his current case manager removed it in his freshman year without my knowledge and consent. I didn’t realize it until after I signed his new IEP. It was for him to go to a pre-vocational school. Is this legal?
Inform the school in writing that you did not realize this change was made, & you are requesting an IEP meeting to add this transition goal. Your state parent training & information project can give you some information & support. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center
“Exit ARD” = ? If you mean, starting at the HS with special ed services, it is good practice, but not required.
