Parent Rights: PARENT RIGHTS TO TEST PROTOCOLS

Share

Ernestina:  Where in the Law does it say that the school can not share the raw test data or protocols with parents but only with child psychologist?

Thank you!

  1. Ernestina: Please follow Chuck’s advice and use the google search box on any Wrightslaw page. You’ll find a number of articles that answer your question, including this page:

    https://www.wrightslaw.com/info/ferpa.copy.protocols.htm

On this page is a link to the YouTube video by Pete Wright about parent’s right of access to the test protocols.

Parents are entitled to test protocols and neither test publishers nor school districts may assert copyright protections.
