Yolanda: My son is a senior and has an iep but the counselor said he didn’t meet all the requirements to graduate. I wanted to know if he can still walk and come back to finish the semester to complete the requirements?

My son did just that. He walked with his class and went another year in school and was serviced via the IEP. Remember that graduation is a “change of placement” and the school is no longer obligated to provide a Free and appropriate education (FAPE) for free.
