Alexandra: I have a student with Bi-Polar disorder whose parent in not administering her medication at home due to physician conflicts. The student has become a physical threat to peers and is consistently running out of class. How can we prevent her from self injury or hurting others?
The school is required to develop a plan whether or not the child is on medication. People with the knowledge to develop a plan need to be found & brought in to assist with this. This will probably be a matter or trial & error before an effective plan is developed.
