Cynthia: I have a settlement agreement with the school district, everything on paper in black & white. Why has it been so hard to get the district to abide by it, when they themself signed it? What options do I have enforcing said agreement and can I open a new case because of all this?
if settlement agreements are considered contracts can school district use educational law as matter of law to defeat prinicples of contract law
basically to avoid responsiblity of a breachof contract they use educational law to justify the Breach
This should be governed by your state rules. Typically this is handled by a state complaint, &/or filing a suit with a state or federal court. Your state parent & training center can assist you. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center/
