Julia: Can the school set a specific time for ALL subsequent IEP meetings? School states that all IEP meetings will not extend longer than one hour. If meeting exceeds one hour, the IEP team will request to reconvene the meeting at a later date.

I have run into this before. I have asked for a DRAFT copy of the IEP or document that we are going to talk about ahead of time (preferably a week at least). This way I have a chance to look it over and respond in writing to anything I like or don’t like. This way I can make the best use of time at the IEP meeting. This has really helped keep me on track if the time is limited. They should agree.
