Adam: I’m a.d.d.h.d now and back then. My life has been OK but a constant struggle. My parents and the principal thought it be best if I dropped out of school at 15 going on 16. Can I sue the school for suggesting a 15 year old with a.d.d.h.d to drop out and go get a ged?
Keep in mind the two-year statute of limitations.
How’s it going with the GED? Do you have the supports you need to be successful in your GED program?
Possibly, depending on your state law, but proving this could be difficult. You can look into getting into the district’s dropout prevention program. Your state parent training & information can assist you. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/find-your-center/
