Hi,
I recently encountered an incident whereas, initially an ARD was scheduled for my 11th grade granddaughter, my wife and I are her guardianship as well. The date/ time communicated both mailed letter and reminder the Friday before the meeting scheduled September 19, 2022 at 1345hrs. I arrived at the High School about 1340hrs. I was immediately informed by the front office staff, meeting was at 1045hrs. All participants were present except us, the parents and my granddaughter, who was also given an invite. No reminder if we were still coming, NOTHING. They held the ARD meeting. I was furious, as I had blocked my afternoon for this meeting. Another incident happened, first for my GD, caught skipping a class on School grounds. She has been diagnosed with ADHD, DMDD and Anxiety Disorder. I have more to share on this incident. I wish to be contacted.
Not legally. I work for the TX parent training & information project. We have staff through out the state to assist parents. http://www.partnerstx.org
