Lisa: My daughter was told by her teacher that she cannot retake a Pop-Quiz. That is not allowed. I’m confused if she has accommodation for test and quizzes for retakes doesn’t that fall under it.

My daughter’s 504 states that she can retake tests. Her teacher is not allowing her to retake a quiz. Does the 504 have to specifically say quizzes for the retake to happen?
The accommodations must clearly state in her plan what the team decides is needed for tests, whether it is retakes, extra time, etc. if it does state retakes, and under what circumstances, then I would email the teacher the accommodations, then school admin if there is any disagreement.
